Renowned scientist Jane Goodall Expressed Aspiration to Launch Elon Musk and Donald Trump on Single-Journey Space Mission
After spending decades researching chimpanzee conduct, Jane Goodall became an expert on the aggressive tendencies of alpha males. In a recently released interview documented shortly before her passing, the celebrated primatologist disclosed her unusual solution for handling specific people she viewed as showing similar qualities: sending them on a permanent journey into space.
Final Documentary Reveals Frank Opinions
This extraordinary perspective into Goodall's mindset emerges from the Netflix production "Final Words", which was recorded in March and preserved secret until after her latest passing at 91 years old.
"I know persons I'm not fond of, and I would like to send them on a SpaceX vessel and send them all off to the celestial body he's sure he'll find," commented Goodall during her conversation with the interviewer.
Named Figures Identified
When asked whether the tech billionaire, recognized for his controversial gestures and political alliances, would be among them, Goodall answered affirmatively.
"Yes, definitely. He would be the leader. Picture the people I would place on that spacecraft. In addition to Musk would be Donald Trump and several of Trump's dedicated followers," she stated.
"And then I would add Russia's leader in there, and I would place Xi Jinping. Without question I would add Benjamin Netanyahu on that journey and his far-right government. Place them all on that vessel and dispatch them."
Past Observations
This wasn't the first time that Goodall, an advocate of conservation efforts, had voiced concerns about the political figure in particular.
In a previous discussion, she had remarked that he displayed "comparable kind of actions as a dominant primate will show when vying for dominance with an opponent. They posture, they strut, they portray themselves as much larger and aggressive than they truly are in order to daunt their rivals."
Dominance Patterns
During her last recorded conversation, Goodall further explained her analysis of alpha personalities.
"We get, remarkably, two types of dominant individual. One type succeeds through pure aggression, and because they're strong and they combat, they don't last for extended periods. Another group achieves dominance by using their brains, like a young male will just confront a more dominant one if his ally, often his brother, is with him. And research shows, they endure significantly longer," she detailed.
Social Interactions
The renowned scientist also studied the "social dimension" of actions, and what her detailed observations had shown her about hostile actions displayed by people and primates when faced with something they perceived as threatening, although no threat really was present.
"Chimps see an unfamiliar individual from a nearby tribe, and they become all excited, and their hair erect, and they stretch and touch another, and they show these faces of hostility and apprehension, and it spreads, and the rest catch that feeling that this one male has had, and the entire group grows aggressive," she explained.
"It's contagious," she noted. "Various exhibitions that grow violent, it sweeps through them. They all want to participate and engage and turn violent. They're defending their domain or fighting for control."
Similar Human Behavior
When asked if she considered the same behaviors were present in human beings, Goodall replied: "Perhaps, sometimes yes. But I strongly feel that most people are good."
"My main objective is nurturing the upcoming generation of caring individuals, beginnings and development. But are we allowing enough time? I'm uncertain. These are difficult times."
Historical Perspective
Goodall, a London native five years before the commencement of the the global conflict, equated the battle with the difficulties of present day politics to the UK resisting Nazi Germany, and the "spirit of obstinance" exhibited by Winston Churchill.
"This doesn't imply you won't experience times of despair, but subsequently you recover and state, 'Alright, I won't allow to let them win'," she commented.
"It's similar to Churchill throughout the battle, his iconic words, we shall combat them on the beaches, we'll fight them along the roads and urban areas, afterward he commented to an associate and allegedly commented, 'and we shall combat them using the fragments of broken bottles as that's the only thing we truly have'."
Closing Thoughts
In her final address, Goodall shared inspiring thoughts for those combating authoritarian control and the climate emergency.
"At present, when the planet is challenging, there still is optimism. Don't lose hope. When faith diminishes, you become apathetic and take no action," she counseled.
"Whenever you wish to save the existing splendor on our planet – when you wish to save the planet for coming generations, future family, their offspring – then consider the choices you implement daily. As, expanded numerous, multiple occasions, minor decisions will create substantial improvement."
